Fat Burning Soup

It may sound like an old wives tale but there is some truth in the notion of eating cabbage soup as a quick fat burning soup. The reason it works is that cabbage requires energy to break it down and release the energy stored in it. It is this property which makes cabbage soup should a good option for losing weight quickly.

It is not just cabbage soup that can be used, any vegetable soup that just contains vegetables - no pasta - will be a good fat burning soup.

There is one caveat though, you can't have bread or toast with your soup, as this will increase the amount of carbohydrates in it and negate the effect of the fat burning vegetables. Try a cabbage or vegetable soup diet for two weeks, just eat it for lunch and dinner, having a normal breakfast, you will see results.
